The production of handicraft products can lead to entrepreneurship and employment, and it is a revival of the culture and art of our ancestors, and the artists of this field can start a business in this field with little capital due to their experience and art

 The head of the innovation and modern technologies office Bandar Abbas Municipality with announcing the news of participation of innovative artists of Bandar Abbas in the national handicrafts exhibition stipulated that handicrafts are of great cultural and economic importance that the first of them leads to the preservation of heritage, skill and the advancement of art, in the latter, we have seen employment, high added value, use of low capital and export potential. According to the public relations of Innovation and Modern Technologies Office of Bandar Abbas Municipality, Ms. Somayeh Samsampour touched upon this and said: «Handicrafts industry has this potential to increase employment and rich revenues of the country. She termed the exhibition industry a multifaceted phenomenon whose scope of influence on international exchanges and economic development of countries is very important and effective. According to her, high employment potential, low investment and high added value are among the valuable advantages of handicraft, which make handicrafts one of the desirable sectors in the process of economic growth and development of any developing country. She further said that in the age of globalization and concurrent with the merge of world economies, goods become more commercialized, and therefore artisans and artists, by attending exhibitions such as the National Handicrafts Exhibition, will have a very valuable opportunity to put on display and have access to the audience of other countries to put on display their art works. According to the head of the Innovation and Modern Technologies Office of Bandar Abbas Municipality, the presence of artists and handicraftsmen in the exhibitions at the national level is considered like a business trip to other countries that are present in the exhibition because in addition to local visitors, other countries that are present in the exhibition can also be one of the trade partners. It should be mentioned that the 36th National Handicrafts Exhibition was held in presence of the Minister of  Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts and participation of Qatar, Iraq, Japan, Indonesia, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Russia, Venezuela, Oman, UAE, Syria, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Lebanon, Algeria, China, Georgia on February 7-10 at the Tehran Permanent Fairground where the creative and top artists and artisans of Bandar Abbas put on display their exotic hand-made work arts to the public in four pavilions of this exhibition in the field of braid sewing, mat weaving, marine handicrafts and traditional embroideries.
